If you're in Wollongong or feel like visiting, me and the missus aka Sarah Mould are having a small exhibition of new paintings at Terrarium Gallery from this Thursday until July 14. The gallery is at Shop 20/157 Crown st and it's open from Wednesday through Saturday. RSVP on facebook why don'cha? There'll be lollies and fizzie drinks and we'll probably have some prints for sale too, it's going to be a bit of good fun ok and we'll try not to be too anti-social.
The current exhibition at ARThive is called The Silent Era, it has been curated by silent film fanatic and Arthive gallery assistant Shana Dennis in the lead up to the Newcastle screenings of Australia's silent film festival at the end of the month. The exhibition opened last weekend and will continute until June 23. I contributed this colourful drawing, which i frantically scribbled together in a mad panic the night before, and which was inspired by A Trip To The Moon by Georges Méliès.
I feel like I've had a pretty massive week, worked heaps at my job, played a show at Emma Soup with Polyfox plus recorded some stuff at the Pharmacy for our side of an upcoming split 7", also had a silent film exhibition at ARThive which i bashed out a quick drawing for, and then tonight I drew the Punisher for this weeks Ozcomics drawing challenge and watched Home Alone on Blu-Ray.
