Burn Kids
Cover art for The Night Of Love's Burn Kids CD. The Night Of Love was an improvised music project that featured myself, Nicholas French, Morgan Cabot, Yusuke Akai, Daiji Igarashi, Nik Mayer-Miller, Scott McConnachie, and various others. We recorded two albums and played one show. You can order this album through Monstera Deliciosa.

This is a bit old, it's a record cover I drew for ALPS a few years ago. It was for a Peter King cut 8" polycarbonate record release which was called Origin Of Species. If it looks a bit familiar, Chris asked me to pretty much copy the cover of the penguin edition Charles Darwin Origin Of Species book. The record is sold out now, but you can stream some samples here, Mesozic Era is my favourite song on it.
JUSTICE TRIO
I've never really been interested in any of the DC comics characters, except for Batman of course. The whole justice league is pretty sucky. Plastic Man is pretty good though, I might do some drawings of him.

This is a quicky drawing of my buddy David Hampton, whose art studio is upstairs from mine. He likes trains, Dr.Who, and always has pockets full of lollies. You can check out some of his drawings at his blog.
The Australian dollar falls
How i feel every time i go into the bank. This drawing is a bit old as well, but never before seen by the world.

This is the first thing i ever posted on this blog when i first set it up at my mum's house two christmas' ago, before i abandoned the whole thing soon after for about a year and then later came back with a furious vengeance. This is a better scan than before, I had to totally pull apart the pain-in-the-butt sketchbook it was in to get it out though, as it had these dumb staples in the sides so it couldn't open flat.

Here's a little drawing of Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th film series. I haven't seen the remake, is it any good? Also, what's the point of remaking Friday the 13th? Why not just make Jason 11 or something. Email me if you'd like to buy this fine piece of art, i'll tell you how to give me money and you can tell me where to post it to.

This is a pretty old and messy biro Batman pic from a sketchbook that i tidied up a bit and put in a frame hoping somebody would buy it at the Artist Market we held at ARThive a couple weeks back. Since nobody did, i'm going to assume that the rest of the world isn't as interested in Batman as i am. I just came home and somebody has unplugged the fridge so now everything is warm and/or melty.
Otto
Here's this weeks Illustration Friday submission. The theme was ARTIFICIAL. I Left it until the absolute last minute this time around, just couldn't find the time or the brains to get much done this week, but here's a quick drawing of Doctor Octopus I just rushed together while listening to They Might Be Giants' Flood album, and then Strapping Young Lad's Heavy As A Really Heavy Thing. I always have trouble drawing his tentacles and making them look dynamic and at least a little bit correct in terms of perspective and proportions etc, but then I had a peek through some of the really early Spider-Man books where his tentacles were drawn a little bit more short, stumpy and goofy looking, and they kind of just jutted out at his sides, which made me feel a whole lot better about drawing him all flat and boring all the time.
Chasing Dragons
One day Rose and I went exploring and we climbed to the top of the biggest church, it was taller than the whole town, and we stood on the top and it was very windy, and in the church there was these flags with these weird dragon things on them, which I don't remember ever hearing about in the bible, but they looked exactly like this beast here..
