Still compulsively drawing Batman. Really excited about the Batman:The Brave And The Bold animated series i've been watching on youtube that has Diedrich Bader as Batman and is heaps awesome and classic Batman instead of gloomy grumble guts goth Batman. Refreshing. Also, I bought Batman Year One and The Dark Knight Returns comic books in Sydney the other day I haven't read them yet but i'll tell you if they're any good ok. This is a drawing of Batman and Robin on the back of a beercoaster, which i did today for a fundraiser exhibition that's coming up at Podspace Gallery in Newcastle. I'll probably make a few more of these, probably more Batman stuff because i'm not very creative. You should make some coaster art too, if you wanna, the submission details are HERE. The exhibition opening is on June 10, where all donated works will be sold pretty cheap with funds going towards supporting the gallery. Isn't that nice?

I've just completed the cover art for the new album by Sydney grindcore band THEDOWNGOING. The album is called I Am Become and this is what it looks like. I haven't heard the album yet but I streamed a few tracks on their myspace and it sounds heapz brutal so you should totally buy it when it comes out if that's what you're into. I reckon it might be available pretty soon, from wherever good grindcore music is sold. I should probably also mention that I'm totally available to draw album covers or posters or T-Shirts for your band as well, and it won't even cost you an arm or a leg.
